At the Open business blog, Marc Dangear uses a filter based on social influence and not traffic to track the top blogs in entrepreneurship/ Social Entrepreneurship / High Tech/ Venture Capital. Using this
methodolgy, the Kentucky Startup Blog was ranked number 52. In fact most of the Springstage network blogs come out in the top 150 (texas, colorado, North Carolina, New Hampshire). The top blogs were all the usual suspects (kawasaki, techcrunch, etc) One noticeable absence was Brad Feld though Ask the VC did make the list. After reviewing the list, itseems those that post non-tech/entrepreneurial posts often don’t rank high using this criteria. It was also a creative way to ensure others linked to your blog.
